From the Principal

It is very likely that by the time you are reading this newsletter, Mrs Lowden, myself and 8 Pigeon Mountain students will be in China visiting our sister school in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. This is the 4th group to visit China as ambassadors of PMPS, and each time we meet up with our colleagues and friends at Yuyao Experimental School #2, we enjoy a rich educational and cultural experience. The students selected to travel this year have enjoyed 6 months preparation leading up to their visit, and depart NZ with a great sense of anticipation about what they will see, hear, feel and taste in China. Throughout their 10 day stay overseas, the children will draw upon the 4 school values, whilst enjoying the company of other intrepid explorers from Wakaaranga, Hingaia, and BBI schools. The first newsletter of Term 4 will contain more details about their experiences overseas.

If you are interested in receiving new surveys- the latest will be coming out ahead of the holidays- please email iand@pmps.school.nz
