From the Principal
This week we are holding our first face-to-face conferences of the year.
Following the success of the Wellbeing Conferences, conducted online during Lockdown, this is your first opportunity to sit alongside both your child and their teacher and discuss achievement and progress.
For your child, time alongside the 2 most important factors in their learning is priceless. Being offered the opportunity to articulate their strengths and weaknesses, and next learning steps in the company of parent and teacher, is an occasion not to be missed.
Please make sure you have booked a session at this week’s conferences- and ensure you bring your child along to the meeting. Without them, you are excluding the person who can make the biggest impact!
We aim for 100% of parents acknowledging and responding to the conference letter. Please do not be surprised if your child’s teacher contacts you about making an appointment- this is not a bad sign! It simply means that the teacher does not want your child to miss out on the chance to have crucial team-members sitting around the same table discussing their development.
Please invest 15 minutes this week for your child.
