From the Principal
We learned at the end of last week that a student at Macleans College had been confirmed as having Measles. Whilst we have not had any cases at Pigeon Mountain School, a case here or potentially at BBI would mean that students without confirmed immunisations would not be able to attend school at the direction of the Auckland Regional Public Health Service.
I am grateful to the growing number of parents who are participating in the Principal’s email group. I appreciate being able to tap into the thoughts and opinions of parents throughout the year, and the most recent survey outcomes on Student Agency are available from the school website at https://www.pigeon-mountain.school.nz/principals-email-group/
We will be mailing out the latest survey this week- focusing on the directions our board are considering with regards to our strategic investment in school facilities. To be included in this mailing list, please email iand@pmps.school.nz
We have now purchased the unsold stock from NZ Uniforms ahead of our switch to John Russell Schoowear in Term 4. We have a range of uniform items, but some quantities may be restricted in some sizes. From this week we will be selling the stock at reduced prices;
Long sleeved school polo shirts- $35
Short sleeved school polo shirts- $30
School half-zip fleece tops- $45
Boys’ shorts- $35
Girls’ culottes- $40
Unisex long pants (T2 and T3 only)- $45
School rain jackets- $35
PE shorts- $20
(Please note- we are no longer selling PE t-shirts because these are changing to a new quick-dry sports fabric from December.)
